Latvian companies are moving into the possession of foreigners

Over the past ten years, 75% of Latvian companies put up for sale, which belonged to local businessmen, were sold to foreign businessmen. This data is publicized by the "De facto" programme on LTV.

As the most prominent examples in recent months, the tv channel points out the attraction of a Russian investor in the Riga's dairy plant, a Dutch transit company buying the Riga seaport ManTess, Belgian concern Puratos acquiring the Pūre Food company...
